Media Poles

In the trendy business area of Gagnam, Jordan and Katie’s home neighbourhood, 3 blocks have seen the installation of something called “media poles” on the side walks. They look like something out of 2001: A Space Odyssey, and they offer pedestrians a variety of entertainment and services.
Simply pose a question and the pole offers a variety of maps, locations, suggested routes, phone numbers, addresses, photos or related videos. The user has a wide variety of video games to ensure they look like an idiot standing on the side walk playing with a media pole. And finally one can record video or take photos, edit them like in iphoto, and send them to friends. We chose to take some “nice” photos for ourselves:
And some juvenile photos for our friends back home. What better way to cheer some on up on a cloudy day? The future is here!

So you’ve got large black obelisks with four monkeys worshipping said obelisks. Cue the Phish…
PS – no joke the spam security word on this post is Axila!
Dyson is a media pole.
