More Kuala Lumpur..
March 10th, 2008 by Sean
We had been robbed of our beach experience and we were determined to relax. Fortunately the Renaissance hotel had a bitchin’ pool and each room was allowed 2 guests – that’s us. There was no rain, good food and three of my most favourite people I was in heaven..

After experiencing arguably the happiest ‘happy hour’ we had ever known, and being invited again, it was about all Erin and I could think of all day. After a full day by the pool 5:00pm finally rolled around and another great night ensued. Actually we were treated to an intense thunderstorm which localized around our (their) hotel and the view of the lightning strikes made the olive tapenade, salmon tartar, and tiger shrimp that much more sweet. Check out the view (before the storm) from the executive lounge where the happy hour glory went down. Added to the photos is a sample plate of Hour d’oeuvres.
Once again the Alpha Grattos had insisted we join them for dinner and Erin and I were happy to oblige. The hotel had a series of themed restaurants including ours – a Japanese Teppenyaki place (where the chefs cook in front of you). We had some great times and laughs.. and the food was pretty good too.

Again we said good night and the youngins’ joined us for some drinks nearby. The next day we said farewell (after one more very happy hour) and our friends were gone and we were on to China. Big thanks to the Alpha Grattos for letting us crash their holiday and for treating us so well. A fruit basket is definitely in order.

I want my happy hour of sleep back from this weekend.
I curse you daylight savings time.
Look at all the white people in Kuala Lampur!
Katie and I had Fondue this weekend. And then we Fondid it.
This is amazing!
Jen and I also fondid it this weekend. Yep, no lie, you heard it hear folks: an official fondoubledue.
Dyson or Judes, any fondoodling for either of you?
The fondue this weekend definitely led to a little oral fondiction.
High fives all around!
Fondalingus?
Katie had it all over her face.
And then we went for some Fondue.
I loved every second of it.
The Fondue was good too.
Jordan, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Next update please!
